Ashley Foods is the preeminent regional purveyor of meats and cheeses to fine restaurants, country clubs and hotels. Our stature as a Delaware Valley institution was not achieved overnight, though. From the moment that he started our company as a one-man operation in 1984, our founder, Bernie Loke, was determined on placing his personal stamp on every aspect of Ashley’s product and customer service. This insistence on excellence was cultivated from Bernie’s experience that spanned from working in local restaurant kitchens as a 12 year-old to his roles as a chef at some of the area’s most noted catering facilities, country clubs and restaurants.
Through our founder’s hard work and determination, Ashley Foods blossomed from a tiny pasta and dessert product distributor to what it is today, a full-service provisioner, offering the finest meats and cheeses to the finest regional establishments.
Carrying on Bernie’s legacy is his daughter, and the company’s namesake, Ashley Hanlon. Ashley grew up in and around our family company, at her father’s side every step of the way. In this new and exciting era of the company, Ashley has combined her exuberance and business school training with her practical industry sense gained on-site since she was a little girl. Our company is stronger and more dedicated to its customers than ever!
